Home automation systems are very important to today’s home owner.  Some people are constantly on the go with very tight schedules and need things to happen automatically.  Others simply enjoy the convenience that home automation offers.   

What can Home Automation do?   

Home Automation is an integrated control system that puts you in total control of your home’s mechanical and electrical systems including; security, lighting controls, environmental controls (heating and air conditioning), entertainment systems, appliances, pools and spas, lawn irrigation systems and just about any other system in your home.   

How does Home Automation Control my Home?   

Our Home Automation systems are controlled by a sophisticated microprocessor based system. 

Interface
The system interfaces with your personal computer, directly with installed keypads, by modem or over the internet. 

Custom profiles
You establish custom profiles in the system which are then executed by your commands.  For example you may set up a profile called “dinner guests”.  If you are running late and are expecting dinner guests you can simply call into the system on your way home and say “dinner guests”.  The system will then adjust the lighting (interior and exterior) to your preferred settings, turn on the music, adjust the temperature and even turn on the hot tub.  Whatever your needs you pre-determine them in the profile and at your command they will set the stage. 

Everyday Features
Your lights can turn on as you enter a room. You can raise or lower the temperature when you normally leave home then return it to a comfortable temperature just before you return.  Lights can turn on and off when you are not at home making it appear as if you are.  The system does not require seasonal adjustments, it senses outdoor temperature and sunlight levels and adjusts accordingly.  This makes your home much more energy efficient and secure. 

Will installation take a lot of time or be Disruptive to my Home? 

No, except for special control or detection devices, our systems can interface with the wiring that is installed by the electrician.  Our control devices are also hidden inside the existing electrical boxes and controlled by very attractive number pads and slide switches that fit in standard electrical boxes.
